December 22, 2006 (Friday)
Ashley’s lump felt as if it has gone down some. She is difficult to give the Prednisone pills to. Mom and I both have to try to hold her to give her both pills. She’s strong and quick. Ashley also began trying to eat on her own. (See add’l entry after December 22nd)
I have always been an animal lover. My love for animals has brought many furry friends into my life. I try to support my local animal rescue organizations when I can, as I know my donations will go directly to helping them find homes for or care for critters. (I do not like the politics the national organizations get into.) Now that I live in a rural area, I have become a refuge for many animals I have rescued.
Many stories you will find in the Paws4Critters blog posts.
ROSARIES & CHAPLETS
I handcraft unique Catholic rosaries & chaplets. I try to find unique beads and/or center/crucifix sets. These include the St Francis cat / dog rosaries, illness rosaries (cancer, diabetes, arthritis), Family rosaries, Jacob’s Ladder rosaries, RCIA/Confirmation/1st Communion rosaries, Divine Mercy chaplet, Five Wounds Chaplet, Holy Face Chaplet.
PHOTOGRAPHY
I have always loved taking photographs. I have my maternal grandmother’s Brownie camera; however, I’ve never used it. I have my Dad’s camera, too, now, since his passing. I recently got a new digital camera as a gift. I have been practicing taken photos of a variety of things. Thanks for reading my blogs!
